We just released our second free effects pack: Cooked FX Environment & Emotes.

It's 40 animated 2D effects for making a scene feel alive: rain, snow, fog, fireflies, falling leaves, fountains, ripples... plus little emotes that pop up above a character's head (idea bulb, alert, music notes, the anger vein and friends). Mostly seamless loops.

Everything comes in five themes (Soft Glass, Cozy Chunky, Clean Paper, Flat Night and Pixel) as plain PNG sprite sheets with an anims.json, so it works in Godot, Unity, GameMaker or whatever you're using. Free for personal and commercial games, no credit needed.

And a little heads-up: something bigger is almost out of the oven. Cooked FX 250 is five big paid packs, one per theme, with 250 effects each (magic, combat, sci-fi, UI and platformer), in the same style, so everything mixes with the free packs.
