Very complex, yet satisfying game and underlying queue of attacks mechanics works really well, especially with enemies action in-between to avoid or counter!

Developer

Thank you so much! Really glad to hear that the attack queue and the counter/avoid timing felt satisfying to play around with. I had so much fun making it that I'm already polishing it up and fixing some bugs for a more complete version! :D

Cool idea combining an auto battler with a skill chain! Some Spanish text popped up occasionally, but that's not a big deal. If you added a map here, like the one in "Slay the Spire", plus a few encounters, it would make a great roguelike. But maybe that is just me looking for roguelikes everywhere. 😂

Awesome concept! Add more depth and some polish, and it will be absolute gold. ❤️

Haha, you can never have too many roguelikes! 😂 That Slay the Spire-style map is actually a fantastic idea for expanding the game. I had a lot of ideas, but ran out of time and had to set them aside. Right now I'm working on a more polished version with graphical updates and better clarity. At first, you were even supposed to control a team of 4 heroes XD! I'm really glad you enjoyed the core concept!

Yeeeaaah, that is one of the main reasons to hate game jams. So many ideas, so little time. 😄

Good luck and I hope all your plans come true! ❤️

Hi Wolfscrin Studio! The 18-slot loop system is a clever way to build "chain reactions" into an auto-battler - arranging skills and watching the lightning race through the sequence is very satisfying. The art direction (desert/pyramid theme) is cohesive and charming. One suggestion: a quick visual cue showing which slot is currently firing during battle would help track the chain even faster. Great concept!

Thank you so much! We had a blast building the game for the jam, and we're thrilled you enjoyed the 18-slot loop system. Your suggestion for an active-slot indicator is spot on! We are actually planning to make a much more polished and complete version of the game, adding more heroes alongside plenty of visual and sound upgrades. We'll definitely improve the battle feedback there. Thanks for playing!
