Very good and original, SFX and VFX are well done, jam theme is really well adapted, good job ! (took me 10 min to understand how to play^^ but after that it became very rewarding)

An interesting game! At first I had no idea how to play, and it took me quite a while to clear the first stage. But little by little, the dots started to connect, and by the end I could feel there was a grand theme behind it all. For first-time players like me, a short tutorial at the start would be really helpful.

Developer

thanks for playing! I agree that a short tutorial would be helpful, could use that for another jam hahah. Thanks for the feedback :)

I really enjoyed the game’s mechanics. However, having to hit the target 10 times to unlock the next star gets very tedious...
The visuals and music are really pleasant.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! There definitely some room for improving the level design to make unlocking gated stars less tedious by chaining multiple stars that hit the same unlocked stars.

Is the game playable already or did you uploaded early so that you have an entry and will be updating it till the jam's end? Cause I can't control it with mouse now - or am I doing something wrong? :(

Oh hey, the game is already playable. Hmm, that's weird, the mouse control should be working without any setup on the player side.

Edit: turns out there's an issue with the screen and world position handling. I'll post an update once I got it fixed. Thanks for pointing it out :)

Ok, so it was me :D when clicking ON the stars it works! ;) Thanks!

Hahah 😂 Well, perhaps the instructions are a bit unclear, gotta work on that a bit more next. I just fixed the screen vs world coordinate issue, so if you're playing on phone or tablet (where itch will automatically run the game in fullscreen), all the mouse controls should work.
