Such a treat! I love how many different elements were at play here, from the chatsim aspect, to more traditional dialogue, to the cleaning minigame, and managing affection/suspicion bars--it was wonderfully dynamic and engaging from start to finish, executed with both clarity of vision and an impressive degree of polish and finesse. This was an absolute joy to play through; terrific work to the whole team!

This was so much fun! The story and characters kept me invested all throughout ~

The mini game and texting mechanics were interesting. I appreciate the amount of  instructions, guidance, and a checklist during the cleanup mini game. Making it nice and clear what I was expected to do. And it let me know when I chose the wrong combination. A lot of the times, mini games with specific goals and order of operations can be confusing, so it's good that it's very clear in that regard.

What I enjoyed the most however is the progressions of the conversations as the characters start off as suspicious and one another and gradually open up and reveal some information about their past bit by bit, so that we have a good idea of what motivates each of them by the end of the story.  Overall I think the writing and story progression was very well done and nicely presented.

Luca was my favorite character. I found him the most interesting and I enjoyed his interactions with the MC the most. His ending was creepy and unsettling, but it makes sense given his character.
Michael's ending was tragic.
Robin's ending was my personal favorite and the most satisfying.
I do like the idea of moral conflict in this. The MC doesn't just regard their own safety, but that of their new friends.
The only ending I think I missed is the game over. I didn't use the guide, but I did cheat using rollback. lol.

It's kind of greedy of me, but personally would like to see more positive endings (in addition to the negative ones, not as a replacement). One where Michael and MC succeed, one where MC is more sympathetic towards Luca and becomes more of a partner in crime rather than just a victim (they could be unhinged together, why not? xD). And then I guess, to balance it out Robin could have a less satisfying ending where Luca escapes or maybe she sacrifices herself while protecting the MC? It might not coincide with the dev's visions, but I think it would make Luca and Michael's ending a little more rewarding to the player after putting in all the effort of trying to win their affections, but maybe that's just my personal bias as an optimist and a romantic.

As a more minor note, the only thing that didn't make sense to me is why they referred to it as "texting" while the GUI made it look like they were on the computer? To me texting and using phone numbers implies they would use a phone to communicate. But the GUI looks more like they're using a social media app like discord on their desktop. So I think there was a bit inconsistency with that. Not that I didn't like the GUI or had any issues with it. On the contrary, I enjoy those kind of mechanics, I just didn't understand why it looked the way it did.

Overall though, I thought it was very impressive work and enjoyed the story and getting to know each of the characters. Thanks for all the hard work making such a great game! ^^

aaa TT w TT Thank you for such an in-depth review of Hazard Crew! I've forwarded your feedback to the rest of the team~ o7

Personally, I am extremely happy to hear that Luca is your favourite character >:3 Seeing Lin's (character artist's) inital sketches of him is what drew me to the project, and how he ended up being the one I enjoyed illustrating the most. When I finally playtested the game and read the script myself for the first time, I became even more obsessed with him xD (didn't know that was possible)

I understand the desire for more positive endings. While I'm unsure if more endings will be added, it does give me some ideas for some unofficial AUs and alt-ending illustrations!

Thank you again for playing!

Cool vibe, I really enjoyed the minigame and loved chatting with everyone but sometimes I felt that mc had different behaviour with characters when texting versus meeting them
