What, if any, Jam-Specific Challenges did you include in your entry?
"HawkZombie is in your game as a character or cameo"
HawkZombie has a sorta cameo early on.
"Your game is themed around a major holiday."
Game is themed around Halloween, in a way.
"A character in the game is redeemed somehow."
Depends on what you define as "redemption".

Does your game require playing multiple routes to get the full experience?
There are only two endings, but I wouldn't consider either a true ending.

Approximately how long is your game (in minutes)?
Accounting for that someone who isn't me playing it would take longer: About 40 minutes to an hour, and that may be exaggerating a bit.

Took around 30 min to fully paly one path and I just want to say I loved this so much this has to be one of my favorite submissions so far!

Slight spoilers ahead, so don't read if you haven't played.

On positive notes I love the hints you give with the backgrounds and the environmental storytelling in certain areas. I gasped when I noticed the initial red ice floor was in the shape of a broken, bleeding heart, and the first time you see the kids with the floor being a heart just made me go oh no, cause I knew it would hurt later on.

I also really liked the detail of adult Mike photo being put together with adhesive tape in comparison with kid Mike broken one, it feels very symbolic.
The visuals being a mix of pictures, irl handmade drawings, and pixel art really helps the story and ambience get that unsettling ambience, it does feel like you are in some sort of dream or going back into Mike memories.

I only wish the comic was a bit more legible, the pencil is not very visible in certain spots, it's hard to see what's drawn, and especially the written parts.

On some general feedback, it would be nice to have the Options in game menu instead of having to go back to the Title screen to adjust anything, the wind gets a bit too loud at times and overtakes any other background music and sound effects.
Related to the menu, it would also be nice to have an "are you sure you want to quit?" instead of sending the player back immediately, I accidentally clicked it and lost all progress (I wasn't too far in but it was still a bit frustrating).

As an extra, maybe a little hint of what you can interact with. The car puzzle is the only one I struggled with because I clicked it in different areas and got the same dialogue, so I assumed it was done, then had to go back and click all around until the door had a different option. Aside that, I am not sure if I missed anything else I didn't click on because I didn't knew.

Overall I loved the story (even if I didn't fully understand some bits),the visuals are very creative and you got the theme perfectly in my opinion. Once the jam is over I look forward to playing again but with the other ending :D

Glad ya liked it! ^ ^

You might(?) be the first person to notice the bleeding heart in the first area.

Doing the artwork for this was really fun so I'm glad ya thought it worked well.

The comic was drawn and programmed in on the same day, I don't think I was thinking about legibility as much as I really should have.

Also sorry about the options menu being weird. One of the plugins I used messed it up and I didn't fix it for some reason.
