Geodas Rush – a short incremental about cracking geodes to pay your greedy landlord (free, browser)

Hi! This is Geodas Rush, our first game. 💎

Your grandpa left you his old hammer… and a mine that isn't yours. Don Ramiro, the stingiest landlord in the valley, wants his rent every 3 days. Crack geodes, sell what's inside (quartz, rubies, diamonds… or a fireproof rubber duck), upgrade your tools at night and dig deeper until you can finally buy the mine.

  • ⛏️ 6 zones, from the riverbank to a meteor crater
  • 💎 30 gems with 120 depth varieties to collect
  • 📜 Client orders, night helpers… and a debt collector if you can't pay
  • ⏱️ A short run: about 1–2 hours, autosaves
  • 🌐 Free, plays in the browser, English and Spanish

It's a prototype and we'd love your feedback: what hooked you, where you got bored, and whether you got stuck anywhere. Thanks for playing!

Update 0.7.0 is out, the biggest one so far:

• Grandpa's inheritance (prestige): when a run ends you earn coins for permanent upgrades that carry over to every run.

• Heads or tails with the landlord: the debt collector is gone. If you can't pay the rent, Don Ramiro flips a coin. Win and he lets it slide, lose and you're evicted (you still keep the coins for the inheritance).

• Rent depends on depth: the deeper your newest mine, the better the gems and the higher the rent.

• Faster start: the first rocks are dirt clods, so you can buy your first upgrade on night one.

A run now takes about 30 minutes. Full details in the devlog: https://wildgg.itch.io/geodas-rush/devlog/1701742/update-070-grandpas-inheritanc...

I'd love to know if the coin flip feels tense in a fun way or just frustrating!
