Nice concept! I think the gameplay and atmosphere work well to add to the horror. I also quite liked the effect of seeing the ghost through the screen thing. I think one problem is that the ghost itself isn't very threatening because it's quite slow and easy to navigate around but this could be improved for sure.

I really liked this one! I kept luring the ghost to behind the screen where I could see it. I do love a good deduction game. Also some top-notch voice acting.

Developer

Thanks! I was honestly a bit worried about my voice acting but I'm glad it was okay :)

the ghost effects look rad as hell, and i love the obra dinn like name deduction stuff! the voice over and lighting are such a good combo to get that creepy atmosphere (and i’m personally thankful that there aren’t any jumpscare noises haha - it was so eerie and scary with just the atmosphere!!)

(lowkey would also be cool if you had to name the ghost)

Yoooo naming the ghost is such a great idea! Glad you enjoyed

Nice and simple with a clear goal. Had fun running around making sure I got everyone's names right. It was a bit too easy as the ghost just walks a bit too slow and would have been nice to have horror or scary sound effects to make the player anxious. Overall it ran really smooth and the gameplay was solid. Great game

Developer

Thanks! I did deliberately decide to make the ghost quite slow so that people had time to read and look around and stuff. Sound design definitely could have been improved and would have added to the atmosphere, but I just ran out of time.

I hate you, I can’t do this.

There weren’t even any scary sounds, but somehow you still had me panicking the whole time. My  partner is judging me.

Developer

I guess that means the vibes are working :D

Firstly I'm real impresssed this ran so well in browser. Nice one!

I really enjoyed the vibe of this, and managed to beat it alright. Reminded me of Slender back in the day. Obviously, as a sound guy I feel that sound would elevate the experience a lot. I didn't feel all that stressed, and I rate sound could add to that feeling. Think the entity could have some very creepy sound design ala Annihilation. Well done!

Developer

Thanks :) Yeah I agree, I think sound would have added a lot, both for vibes and also to give the player some warning when the ghost is approaching.

Interesting concept :D I didn't manage to figure out all the names but it was fun trying to put names to faces, the ghost felt a bit out of place in the lore but it definitely added some pressure. great job!

Developer

Thanks :) The ghost makes sense in the lore in my head but it isn't really fully fleshed out in the game
