The timpani are a nice playful touch that kinda screams hot-air ballon in your face, i really liked them. They add a bouncy a floaty movement to the composition without being too violent.

Gorgeous writing for the piano with adroit doubling (I'm guessing mallets but my ear is terrible for tuned percussion) for "sparkle." The march-like section transitioning to triangle/chimes and ribbony high strings, then contrasting call-and-response in winds (?), is a perfect setup for the building fanfare. This evokes an epic journey, with terrific deployment of the orchestra's sections weaving in and out and such versatile development.
