It's cozy and warmig, good atmosphere! But as mentioned earlier by others, very challenging at the start, there's a growth point from balancing. And one more- I didn't really get what's my motivation to move forward if my goal is to stay warm, just in terms of gameplay, not narratively. Overall, great work, keep it going :)
Hey! The motivation would be stashing nuts for the winter, staying warm is more like a limitation... but yeah, it could be way clearer, and better balanced, but that's what we got for this 3 days 🥲 Thank you so much for the feedback!
really love the art, was more difficult than it looks which isn't a bad thing. Was fun to play, well done!
thank you!!
A suprisingly difficult platformer! The level design and art really give this game a cozy vibe , and the text littered throughout are a really good adition. i did encouter a bug when i died and the acorns didnt respawn nor were in my inventory, but all in all this was a pretty good game!
Thanks for the feedback and for the bug report, I will fix it as soon as the jam is over :)
You guys have really good level design and progression. I love it!
Thanks!!
love the upgrade system, level design was a bit confusing , supre cool game!
Yeah, first time trying to do something similiar to a metroidvania😅 thanks!
Quite a difficult game that does not allow the player to fail gracefully. The squirrel is also quite slow.
hey there! I didn't understand the "fail gracefully" thing... could you explain a little more? about being slow, I agree - you can upgrade its move speed as you progress in the game, but maybe I should have made it a bit faster from the beginning. Thank you for your feedback.
