Use of the limitation
You freeze if you don't warm up by a campfire every so often! The termometer in the top left shows you how cold you are, and the screen begins to freeze over too.

Cookies eaten
I got a subway with one of those packs of 3 cookies, so 3. A lot of coffee was consumed too.

surprisingly difficult platformer (or maybe i suck) with really good art! really liked the wind mechanic although i wish it was more sporadic. Great Work!

Really good game! Felt 2 times before the flag :(

pretty fun tho would love a checkpoint

This is amazing! I really like the game concept, and the snowy atmosphere and the firepits are perfect. They work super well with the limitation! The movement, especially the climbing, feels really nice and I like how the wind also affects how you move.

It reminds me a little of playing Jump King, and now I just want to keep going lol Honestly, I think this could turn into something more! I had a really fun time with this!

That jump at the top is brutal for not having checkpoints haha, really enjoyed playing, reminds me of a certain section of silksong. Also loved the ice border freezing effect

Haha I did think about making the campfires checkpoints, but it felt far too easy when I tried it.

This game is incredible, I like the climbing mechanic and the whole game feels smooth. I love the artwork and particles and the main menu was super useful. Really well done!

The controls work very well, the challenges ramp up fairly, the limitations are put to great use, and the sound effects and music enhance the game's atmosphere.

Very nice game, cool pixel art. Interesting idea with the wind. /\__/\

I really liked the freezing effects around the edges of the screen and the parallax scrolling in the background. I especially enjoyed the tricky situation at the end, where you have to jump across from the pillar. I actually fell there once! =D

Overall, I think this game has the potential to grow into something much bigger if it's expanded and built upon. There's a solid foundation here to work with.

Great job! Keep it up! ❤️

Movement feels nice, visuals are good too. Remind me of celest game.

Super fun game. A little too hard for me. I would have continue to play it if their where checkpoints.

Submitted

the controls were a bit hard to get used to but very fun game anyway

It's a nice little game. I found the controls a bit tricky

Enjoyed playing through it, but couldn't quite get used to the controls, so I wasn't able to finish it. Great art and presentation though.

I want to say damn you for that last jump...

Developer

Would you believe me if I told you it was harder before?

Submitted

Really good, but I fell almost 15 times in the last jump... 😭

Submitted

enjoyed it! would be nice to add a hint that we need to press "shift" to climb because I had to quit to main menu to see how to play (maybe I missed the hint though )

Really well made and polished, from the cozy campfire sounds and ambiance to the freezing screen. I really enjoyed it. The level design was nice and short. It was challenging but not so much that it became frustrating. I almost made it to the flag twice but died at the last jump ;-;
GG really enjoyed this one

I started doing the game jam with a similar concept but pivoted when my controls didn't feel right. Pixel art is spot on though on yours! Nicely done. It was. a little unclear about what the arrows meant until it was experienced that it was the wind. Also the freezing is a nice touch of hinting that you are cold but I still felt like I had to look in multiple places for stamina and warmth.
