This is neat! The pose is dynamic and detailed, and I don't think the perspective on the bike is that bad honestly. I read you wanted to challenge yourself to make something better than last year and I think you completely succeeded! I can see you improved a lot, the pose is much more confident, you took more risks with the composition and the level of detail is higher. Congrats!

Thank you, I definitely improved on last year's, but I'm still unsure on if it's better than my 2024 submission as when struggling last year 2024 felt like a lightning in a bottle. I'm glad you liked my current submission though, honestly the amount of interaction with people I'm getting this year is really encouraging. I like your submission as well I tried doing a similar thing for the background before doing the bright squiggle instead. Hope to see you next year

Thanks!

I think compared to 2024 you tried something a bit different. In 2024, you created a big scene with many subjects inside (the 2 people fighting, the city in the background and the 2 robots) whereas this year you focused on one subject only and detailed it a lot more. So you practiced different skills in both!

See you next year, definitely! :)

Cool to see the process, thanks for sharing :)

no problem, man I wish I was able to see magic eye pictures, mind sharing the secret what's on your image lol

It can be tricky!
The hidden image is simply a "3", in a pixel font. The effect itself is the exciting part haha

Lol is that Kamen rider? So sick!

Developer

Thank you, yeah it is kamen rider, I included my references in the page if you're interested

Oh nice!  You did a good job capturing Ei Ji's likeness. Also big improvement from last years Kamen Rider! Looking forward to next years :)

Developer

thanks I like yours a lot too, it's really neat how you went into the 3 theme with overlaps 3 sets of 3 (plus the purposeful break of the 4th set), the artstyle is also just deceptively simple yet very effective, also hope to see you next time
