[Offered] Crossover / collab with Color Under Pressure 🎨

Hi everyone! I'm Manor from Man Studio.

I make Color Under Pressure, a fast color-reaction game: the word says one color, the ink shows another, and you have to pick the right one under pressure. It has seasonal events, badges, skins and 3 languages (English, Spanish, Hebrew).

I'm looking for other indie games for a crossover swap, no money involved:

🎮 Your character or theme becomes a skin + badge in Color Under Pressure

🎨 Something from Color Under Pressure appears in your game

📣 We promote each other in devlogs and socials

Any genre is welcome. Puzzle, casual, horror, card games, anything! Small or new projects are totally fine.

Play it here: https://manstudio.itch.io/color-under-pressure

If you're interested, reply here with a link to your game and what kind of crossover you'd like. 🙂

Hi Manor! I’m developing Endless Tower, a browser tower-defense demo about building floors, merging guardians and protecting a crystal. It’s still in development, with provisional visuals.

Would you be open to starting with a demo-sharing or devlog-link exchange? That could help each project find people interested in trying it, before considering an in-game crossover. I haven’t planned any guest characters or asset swaps yet.

Playable demo in English: https://yskillstudio.com/games/endless-tower/test/?lang=en

The attached screenshot is actual gameplay from an isolated demonstration of public build 1.42.0. If a links-first approach fits what you’re looking for, let me know what format you have in mind!

Hi! Thanks for reaching out, and congrats on Endless Tower. I gave the demo a try and really liked it, super nice concept!

Starting with a link exchange / devlog mention sounds like a great plan. It’s a clean way to help each other get some extra eyes on our games. We could easily plug each other in our next itch.io devlogs or community posts.

Here are my links for Color Under Pressure:

Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9ntcdcjxzmb0

And for sure—if this goes well, I'd definitely be up for doing something bigger like a cool in-game crossover further down the road when both projects are ready.

Let me know whenever you want to set it up!

Best,

Manor (Man Studio)

Thanks for trying the demo, Manor! A links-first approach sounds useful, and I've noted your suggested devlog/community format. Before arranging the mention, your first impression would help me a lot: was it clear how to start a run and use a guardian's manual power? Did the merge cost (losing a floor) make sense? If anything made you hesitate, a brief example plus whether you played on a phone or computer would be really helpful.

Hey! I played it on PC.

Overall the core idea is cool, but to be honest, I got a bit confused at the beginning. I think adding a quick tutorial or a "How to Play" guide at the start would help a lot with understanding the flow, starting a run, and using the powers/merging mechanics properly.

Also, I noticed a few text elements/UI parts that weren't fully translated into English yet.

Hope this feedback helps! Let me know how you'd like to proceed with the link exchange whenever you're ready.

Best,

Manor

Thanks, Manor — the PC detail and the opening confusion are useful. I've recorded the need to make the start of a run, manual powers and merging easier to discover, along with the incomplete English UI you noticed. Do you remember one untranslated label or the screen where it appeared? Even a rough example would help me check the right place. I've also noted your questions about Color Under Pressure; I haven't tested it yet, so I don't have first-hand feedback to share at this point.

By the way, if you get a chance to test Color Under Pressure, I'd love to hear your first impressions too!

A few specific things I'd be really curious about:

  1. Core Mechanics: Was the main color-matching mechanic (Stroop Effect under time pressure) clear right from the start?
  2. Controls & Pacing: How did the movement feel, and did the overall difficulty scaling feel balanced?
  3. Game Modes: Did you get to try out any of the specific modes (like Story Mode chapters or PvP multiplayer)? If so, how did the pacing and mechanics feel compared to the standard mode?

No rush at all—whenever you get around to checking it out!

No problem at all! To be honest, I'm not 100% fluent in English, so I wasn't entirely sure if it was non-English text or just phrasing that was a bit tricky for me to follow. I attached a screenshot of the one I found!

I couldn't find the other instance again, but from what I remember, it was somewhere during actual gameplay.

Take your time with testing Color Under Pressure whenever you get the chance—no rush at all. Looking forward to swapping links and collaborating soon!

Best,

Manor
