  • Thank you so much for participating in our first Ctrl+AI+Jam! NeBITula—this is a great entry, and this game has so much potential. The overall aesthetic cohesion in this game is impressive especially considering that it was all modeled from code. I will say, however, that I didn't feel much danger while playing, and it wasn't very easy to wake the sleeper, so in terms of consequences for being noisy, I'm not feeling it. You should definitely continue to work on this game after this jam, I want to see more! I would LOVE to see you active in our Discord, and for you to share your experience and process with our community in our #show-your-process forum. I was impressed with your decision to create a custom isometric 2d engine, especially in Rust/Bevy; did you make that decision yourself, or did Claude nudge you in that direction? Overall, you did a great job, and I hope that you will join us for more jams in the future, I want to see more submissions from you!
  • I genuinely enjoyed this game, it felt so smooth, aesthetically it was beautiful. The idea was great but i would say having a bit more of a variety within, something to make it a little more difficult. Overall this is something i would definitely play again with more levels and difficulty if you chose to work on it more!

Toolkit details
Claude was used for literally everything:

Art: Sprites, animations, normal maps, and depth maps generated with Python scripts written by Claude.
Sound: Sound effects synthesized mathematically using Claude-generated configs.
Code: A custom isometric 2D engine built with Rust and Bevy, with Claude writing the code.

From pixels to sound to gameplay - all made with AI.

Overall, I really liked the game! I thought it was very polished, especially considering how little time we had to develop our games. I think you made really good use of that time, balancing the addition of new features with polishing what was already there. I especially liked the attention to detail with the interactive objects. They showed a label when you got close, and there was even a little sign explaining what each object was. The movement felt really smooth, and the art was very well done. I managed to beat the level without much difficulty, but honestly, I don't even think that's a problem.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to add more levels or maybe some random events around the map to bring more variety and give players a reason to play again.

I think that would be a great way to build on what you've already created!

Hey! Thanks for your genuine review! I put a lot of effort into this game, and Claude did an amazing job, especially with the visual effects and animations. That part still feels like magic to me, lol.

I agree with your suggestions for improvement. More levels and a few new mechanics would definitely make the game more enjoyable. The main reason it’s so small is the ONE ROOM limitation. I tried to make the level a bit more complex and considered adding some repetitive mechanics, but eventually decided not to overengineer it and just publish it as it was.

So yeah, maybe I’ll put some more work into it after the jam! 🙂
