Use of the limitation
Staying Warm is the core loop: keep the campfire burning and stay inside its heat ring. Your warmth drains in the cold and 0 means death; cold spirits steal the fire's fuel, so you gather wood to keep it alive through ever longer, colder nights.

Cookies eaten

Nice art style and gameplay loop. Sadly i suck at games so i die quickly. Really fun tho

Developer

Thanks for playing, really glad the art and the loop landed! Don't worry about dying fast — the difficulty ramps a bit too hard right now, that's on me. An easier early game and a short grace period after a hit are on my post-jam fix list. Checking out your entry next!

The gameplay is good. I think backgound music would be a nice addition

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing, glad the gameplay clicked! You're right about the music — I ran out of time in the 72 hours and only got the SFX in. A quiet crackling-fire loop that swells as the ember grows is at the top of my post-jam list. Going to check out your entry now!
