Gorgeous watercolour look. The perfume shop behind the Spice Bazaar feels warm and lived-in, and the cat is a lovely touch. Mixing perfumes from memories is a really fresh premise, and making each expression with keep-this-exact-character edits from one approved reference is a smart way to use DreamLayer. Great entry!

How did you use DreamLayer?
Every visual in the game was made with DreamLayer through the CLI: customer portraits, the shop and street scenes, the title screen, the three ending illustrations, props and UI. The player character was generated once as an approved reference, then every expression (neutral, happy, sad) was made with "Keep this exact character" edits from that reference; the comparison is on the game page. Props and UI were generated as sheets of several objects with wide gaps, cut out once with "cutout" and cropped into separate files. Some scenes were edited from existing art (e.g. the shop turned to evening with coins and the cat for the win ending).
Game Engine / Framework
