It's so Peak!
It's really fun
Legit awesome game.
Could be expanded upon! :)
First of all, well done to the team that was involved in this project! You all did an amazing job with this game! I really hope this moves forward in development because it is a must-play game!
I love the size mechanics in the upgrade system and the growth turret and hand-play interactions! I do think the game needed to be more challenging because I did have moments where I relied on my turrets and didn't use much of the Queen's attacks. That said, the game was enjoyable with its simple premise of a classic tower defence game. I felt like what made it fun was its tiny details and other interactive elements; they connected it together well!
The Art Direction and Theme were perfect. I am really happy you went for a classic alien-like theme! I am quite a sucker for the nostalgia and old era of that time. One of the main reasons why we joined the Size Jam in the first place. The art assets all came together well for the theme to work.
The audio was put together nicely. The VA for the Queen sure had a lot of run as well as the other VAs for the soldier gals. I can tell most of it was polished throughout.
Technical quality was also great too; though, I did sadly have this one bug where it didn't show the beautiful art from when you complete the game. Besides that, everything else was pretty polished. Amazing work!
