STRIKE! Bowling for Severance — short active incremental, looking for feedback on pacing and bosses

Hi! STRIKE! is a short active incremental: you quit your job and wreck the office floor by floor with a bowling ball tied to a network cable. The free demo has two acts (20 floors, about 40 minutes) and plays in the browser.

I'm looking for feedback on:

  1. Pacing. Where did it get slow, or where did you stop?
  2. Bosses. Two or three runs per boss is the goal. Did it feel like that?
  3. The upgrade org chart. Was it clear what to buy next?
  4. The ending of the demo. Did it make you want the full game?

Any comment helps, even a short one. Happy to play and give feedback on your project too.

a bowling ball tied to a network cable is such a stupid good image, i grinned reading it. two or three runs per boss sounds reasonable but you only find out when strangers play, friends always push through out of politeness. that's basically why i built getplaytests, devs giving each other honest feedback on demos. worth a look while you're tuning pacing
