It was awesome with all of the things you said you’re doing. Don’t give up on game dev, I can tell you have a talent for it. I enjoyed it for what it was. Jams are just meant to be fulfilling not long. Thanks for sharing with us all. Good luck with school!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I don't intend to give it up. Even if I somehow end up with literally 0 free time. All that is is just a really long delay

Hey it's not as bad as it sounds like you think it is! I think you did a great job. Jump scare got me even though I was expecting it.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you think so. I'm really happy to hear that the jumpscare worked for you. I think the best scares are the ones you expect. If you don't see it coming then it's just startling

I can really see the idea you went for. And is it indeed pretty close to impossible to do anything similar with a 2d game (at least with this same vibe), so 3d was pretty much the only option to make the idea come true. I think it's one of the approaches that best follows the theme of the game jam.
Even if you didn't have enough time to fully finish the game, you were definitely able to build your idea, and it is an actually amazing idea. Congrats! I hope to see more of your work in future game jams.

Unfortunately the game is not loading here, that initial "Godot game engine" gets stuck at 100%

Developer

Well sh#t. Gonna have to do something about that. Unfortunately it's like midnight and I'm fighting demons to stay awake, so I'll have to do it tomorrow

I fixed it. I think
