One working robot. One last rocket. A world drowning in trash.

Humanity’s technology saved us, then buried us in trash. The cleaning robots we built went mad and turned on their makers. Mars is our last hope, and you are the only robot still working properly. Protect the final rocket until it leaves the planet.

What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Cozy Retro SFX by Bramble & Byte for sounds

Godot 4.7 and Aseprite

How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
No AI.

Fun game, I liked the way you get straight into the action. I'm curious to see what you're going to add!

I didnt see the countdown at first and the tension was created so well! and I suddenly realised there is only 2 second left to go after I failed>_<. Very well made difficulty and context!

Developer

Thank you. It would be better if countdown more visible I see that. Thank you for your comment!

Cute little game! I kind of just run in circles for a minute and won, but the story and stuff was neat!

Quite fun and very solid!

A well-made game, especially for a first solo project; it shows signs of solid polish.

The trash needs to be made more clearly visible, and adding some kind of incremental-style progression system would have given the game a clear goal and a sense of development.

Still, I can see that time was a limiting factor—good work!

Developer

Yeah, I drew and placed the trash in the last couple of hours, so it felt really rushed. It bothers me too that they aren't clearly visible.

I wasn't entirely sure what you meant by an 'incremental-style progression system,' but since there was no sense of progression, I decided to keep the run short. My original vision was a 3-5 minute loop with enemy drops (health, rockets) and increasing enemy spawns over time, but I ran out of time

Fun game! Good difficulty, although sometimes quite hard to dodge the bullets! liked the sounds too!

Developer

Actually, I had planned to make the duration longer and have enemies drop health and rockets, but I didn't manage to get it done in time.

yo this robots slimed me for good. I've completed it only in the 5 try. I developed my own strategy for it. I like the game!
