First off, congrats on getting your first game out there! Really liked the dog sprite, especially his running animation with his tongue hanging out haha. The squirrel was cute too! And the music was seriously good. I actually had to double-check the credits to see if you made it yourself lol. Also got a kick out of the fact that the whole game came from a story you tell your dog about squirrels having a pancake breakfast. That's such a funny way for a game idea to come about XD. Nice job on this!

He can be a bit faster than the camera a bit, but in this game it's not too critical. Nicely done though.

Cute concept and nice application of the limitation here. It's always great to see others picking up pixel art, too. The player character stood from your other sprites due to how you shaded it compared to the rest of the characters and the environment, which were mostly flat shapes. Next time consider going all=in on flat shading (even for your player character) or consider going all-in on shaded sprites/environment to give a little more consistency across the world you're building. In all cases, thanks for the waffle!
