Nice game, I would have liked to play a little longer and see you do more with that mechanic. Wanting the game to be longer is a good problem to have though! Great work.
I liked the concept with the target ping, that made navigation pleasant. I usually get lost and end up walking in circles in these kind of games otherwise :D
Nice little atmosphere and concept. Only thing I would add is more level as I can see potential for this.
Fits the theme quite nicely! I loved the visuals and overall atmoshpere, but I with it was longer
The game have a great atmosphere, i loved the art. It's very good. I wish there were more levels. Great Job!
I love the visuals! Wish there was a bit more to the game but it had a great atmosphere.
Yay, I survived the day! And then I went back and stood in the middle of the room lights blazing because I wanted to see the growling monster 馃槅
It is a nice game that has a lot of potential for bigger levels.
Man, I wish this game was longer! Such a fun concept with really good art as well :)) Great work!
Kaz and I played and finished the game, we thought it was a fun little concept, we wish there were more levels.
One thing we did notice was the flashing lights are a bit strong and there isn't a warning on it, I know some people can get a seizure and sick from flashing lights, it might be good to consider a warning for it.
Other than that we enjoyed the aesthetic, one thing I think I would have liked was to be able to aim the torch with my mouse, but perhaps that's just my prefrence.
This was a really solid little game. The core idea is simple, but I think that works strongly in its favor here. Using the suit detector鈥檚 beeping and blinking to navigate the dark ship made the Signal theme part of the actual gameplay rather than just the setting.
I played through the whole game twice, once on keyboard and once with a gamepad, and both felt smooth. The checkpointing also kept the enemy encounter from becoming frustrating.
I did run into a couple controller inconsistencies. I couldn鈥檛 find a gamepad equivalent for toggling the flashlight, and after finishing the game I had to use the mouse to select Main Menu. Otherwise the controller support worked very well.
Visually, I really liked the limited lighting, terminal presentation, and CRT treatment. The environment stayed interesting enough that I wanted to keep exploring even though the underlying gameplay is fairly straightforward.
I鈥檇 definitely be interested in seeing this expanded. A simple concept, but very well executed for the jam.
This game suffers from being way too short, but the implementation was well made, and I particularly loved the sound of the signal getting more intense.
Good job!!
Agreed!
