POISONED (free, browser): does the first course teach the bluffing, or does it feel like guessing?

POISONED is a 1v1 gothic horror mind game. Each player poisons some of their own dishes and serves the other a tray of three; whoever receives it eats one dish and makes the server eat another. The free demo runs in the browser against an AI opponent, Dead Face, and a match takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

What I'd like feedback on

  1. Reading or guessing. In your first match, did you feel you could read Dead Face (how long it hesitates, its silent "..." lines, the items it holds), or did picking a dish feel like a coin flip?
  2. The tutorial. The butler plays the first course with you and teaches the rules one at a time. Was it too long, too short, or was anything still unclear when the real match started?
  3. The browser build. It loads about 125 MB the first time. How long did that take for you, and did anything go wrong (sound, fullscreen, frame rate)? Please mention your browser.

Even one line on any of these helps. I'll read every reply and post what I change in this topic.
