From the eccentric mind of Jeff Minter, onto the greasy lap of a lazy developer on a mission, the classic Commodore 64 game Gridrunner, now rebuilt for the modern era!

Experience the thrill of shooting at stuff while also not being shot at, in all sorts of unique and customizable ways thanks to the new Gridrunner DIY mode, that allows players to create their own levels!

The game will also feature an arcade more and a variety of minigames you can test yourself with!

More features to be announced soon!

Check out the first Devlog!

Wishlist it on Steam! Coming January 2027! https://store.steampowered.com/app/5454950/Gridrunner_2K/

this looks effin sweet. why not do this with full 360 vision plane of grids

I actually address the Digital Eclipse remake in the devlog funnily enough, i don't bring it up there but i found the shifting movement of the plane a bit distracting on the eyes, but an alternate camera angle is definitely in the cards
