At first I was confused by the controls having both "look" and "walk" options, but one death cleared it up lol. I like the mechanic, I feel like, if polished, it could make for a cool arcade (or re-utilized for something else) but I agree that there should be less floors and they should get harder faster. My first 5-6 floors were practically empty.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you were able to figure out the "turn around" mechanic quickly, also sorry about some of the floors being empty this was my first time attempting a sort of rouge like kind of level system lol.

A fun experience! Didn't make it that far, but I like how there were different hazards with specific rules. Also spritework was very solid and liked it a lot!

Thanks! It was honestly alot of fun thinking of what each enemy would do in the game.

Hey honest feedback. I feel like it should be like 8 floors with increased difficulty and the transition between floors faster. But its very cool idea!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and yeah I do agree about there probably shouldn't have been as many floors as there were and probably should have put a limit on how long the halls could be. Glad you still seemed to enjoy it!

The game is pretty fun and intense, my best run was floor 11. Hardest to counter has to be the "dont see" creature, I died alot because I didnt react in time, which also make me paranoid about every pixel I encountered. And I like the creature that follows behind the player, you have to stay calm or else you fk up

Glad you enjoyed it, sorry about the paranoia I gave you even if that was the plan for the game.

Also fun fact about the creature that follows you, it's heavily based on my favorite cryptid, the Mothman!
