Looking for playtesters: The Industrialist, a supply-chain tycoon (Windows, free key)

Hi! I’m Rick, and this is my first game.

I grew up on Capitalism Lab, Industry Giant and Transport Tycoon, and The Industrialist is my take on what I loved about them: building a business from the raw materials up and fighting rivals for every sale.

You mine the ore, smelt the steel, lay out your own factory floors, and truck goods to towns that grow when you keep them supplied. Rival companies play by the same rules and chase the same towns, and whatever nobody makes, the towns import, so the import price is the one to beat.

It’s an early build, and I’d love a few people to play it and tell me where they got stuck, what felt good, and what felt like a chore. There’s an in-game bug reporter (F8) that can attach your save.

I have tried to research what people like and don't like about the games and have tried to focus on the Rivals (AI) as well as good game play. I am looking for honest and brutal playtesters who like these types of games and are wanting to help make a game better with feedback. I did say honest and brutal but not just flat out rude.

I play a little, fix things, play a little more and fix some more but as anyone who as developed anything, you get tunnel vision and having many eyes is needed.

If you’re up for it, comment on the game page and I’ll send you a free key: https://makrstudios.itch.io/the-industrialist

Thanks in Advance!

Still hoping to get a few people who like this type of game to give it a shot. Thanks in advance.
