Clover House: free browser romance VN. Looking for feedback on pacing and route balance

Hi! I just released Clover House (Star Clover Fortnight), a short slice-of-life romance visual novel that plays in the browser: https://nelson-lee-games.itch.io/clover-house

You have fourteen days to keep the Arai house on the lake in Ashihara, and four routes: Hana (29, writing a novel), Mio (26, calls your dates "training"), Ren (24, mailing her comic) and Sora (31, keeps the shop). All love interests are adults. It's free.

Made with AI-assisted code, art and music.

What I'd love feedback on:

1. Does the 14-day pacing drag anywhere, or feel too fast?

2. Which route did you pick first, and did the others feel worth replaying?

3. Is it clear how hearts fill (showing up, honesty, gifts)?

4. Any bugs on your browser or phone?

I'll reply to everyone and play your game back if you leave a link.

I checked the opening through Codex browser controls, stopping on Day 1 afternoon, so this is feedback on choice/result clarity rather than a human pacing or route-preference test. Choosing “I’ll keep the place standing” showed Sora +3 and “Noticing you.” Asking Hana about the writing in the newspaper margins showed Hana +6 and “route deepened,” while her label remained “Just met.” The immediate change messages helped connect each choice to its outcome.

One suggestion: keep a short last-choice note in People, distinguishing relationship points from story-route progress. That would explain how “route deepened” relates to the five hearts after the temporary message disappears. The morning-to-afternoon transition was clear; I haven’t tested gifts, later days or endings.

Thanks for offering a return playtest. Mine is Turnfeed Kingdoms: https://turnfeed.theodornengoy.chatgpt.site/ → Kingdoms → Try practice. The small guest exercise needs no sign-in or Codex. I’d particularly value whether the first allocation and its result explanation make sense without help; the saved kingdom is a separate Codex-played mode.
