Hi Astralight Games, welcome to the itch community :-)

Thank you! happy to be here <3

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Digital Colonel, developing games in my free time for the joy of creating something fun and sharing it with others :-)

My latest project is Robot Games, a fast-paced FPS combining a minimal battle royale with a rich achievement system. Here you fight against terminators powered by a hand-made intelligence system I've been developing for over a year :0

I also publish gameplay videos packed with challenges and memes :) Feel free to check out my channel and subscribe if you enjoy the content!

Hello, Im Bibi. I love swimming so much I can spend hours in the water, hence my username

Olá, meu nome é Wesneshan Cândido Clemente.
Sou brasileiro e resido em Portugal há 6 anos.
Sou tão apaixonado por RPG, que estou publicando um livro de fantasia juntamente com a Editora Europa.

Hi !!! My name is David. I have been working several years on the software industry but always wanted to explore the gaming development by myself… so here I am, as a solo indie developer, just for fun :)

Hi,

My name is Krisztián (Chris), I'm from Hungary.

I'm a web developer with a background in programming and graphic design. My hobbies include game development, ceramics, drawing, painting, and writing.

I started making games many years ago with Game Maker, and that's also how I first learned programming, which eventually became my job. Later, I discovered Python and the Panda3D engine, which I used to develop my latest game — and the first one I've uploaded here.

I'm something of a solitary creator. I make things primarily for my own enjoyment, including games, but this time I felt I had something worth sharing with others.

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m a game developer focused on creating engaging games with interesting gameplay loops.

Some of my projects include Monster Base Defense: Survival, Super Market Boss: Idle Tycoon, and my newer project, Gang Wars.

🐺 Monster Base Defense: Survival is a unique blend of base defence and survival. You defend your walls against waves of monsters, but you can also venture outside to collect extra loot before the next wave hits. The Rage Meter adds another layer to combat, while coins, weapon upgrades, and a wolf companion help you survive. It’s all about balancing safety with risk instead of simply hiding behind your walls!

🛒 Super Market Boss: Idle Tycoon focuses on building and expanding a supermarket business.

🎮 Gang Wars is my newer project, exploring crew-building, combat, and territory expansion.

I'm also learning more about player psychology, retention, and game design to make my games more enjoyable.

Check out the games below, and I'd love to connect with fellow developers and exchange ideas!

Hi everyone! I write guides and reviews on classic games, including emulation tips, save states, and deep dives into Pokémon, Zelda, and Sonic.

I'm mostly here as a player. I love pixel-art platformers and small RPGs that feel like they came out of the 90s, so I'm looking forward to digging through the retro-inspired games on itch.

Favorite classics: Pokémon Emerald, Ocarina of Time, and Sonic Advance 3.

If you're working on a retro-style game, I'd love to hear about it!

Hey - I made a couple of games in that old-school 90s 16-bit style if you would like to try them.  See them both on my page - but they in the same canon so don't play them both at the same time or there would be spoilers, obvious.  And I just released them as freeware/fan games so don't worry about costs.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to jump in and say hi. I’m a digital artist and character creator focusing on photorealistic AI aesthetics and dynamic lighting setup.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting a lot with male character designs—mixing heavy Cyberpunk neon reflections, Gothic dark fantasy, and classic Noir atmospheres. My main passion is pushing the boundaries of skin textures and natural lighting to see how close we can get to true cinematic depth in interactive fiction and dating sims.

Always lurking around here looking for cool visual novels and game assets for inspiration. Excited to be part of the community and learn from other creators working on game aesthetics!

Drop a line if you're into character design or render workflows, always down to chat!

Hi everyone, I'm Metin, from Normandy (France). I work in cybersecurity by day and I'm starting to build a tactical FPS inspired by Counter-Strike as a side project. I'm comparing game engines and I'm here to learn, follow what you're doing and share progress later. Glad to join!

Good day everyone...I just discovered this website as a place to be able to share the games I made - and they are both just freeware / fan games that won't cost you anything.   The first one I made and originally released back in 2006 called "The Chairman's Quest."  I was so much younger then and didn't have a lot of adult responsibilities so I had a lot of time to work on it and it took me just over a year to make with regular work.  Then started working on the sequel in early 2010, called "The Academy" and just released it in late 2026 - so yes, it nearly took me 17 years to get that one done - "adulting" did not allow for nearly as much time, plus sitting in front of a computer all day didn't make it as easy to sit in front of a small screen and keyboard again after work was over.
There's nothing particularly spectacular about the game design - it is standard retro JRPG fare similar to the SNES 16-bit era.  The main reason I share them is to share the stories written and the characters developed within those games.  So that is the focus - character and story focused works in a traditional JRPG environment, rather than a focus on complicated puzzles, unique manipulations of the game engine, or anything like that - just kept it simple, with the focus on the story and the characters within.   If that's possibly your thing - please try them out.

Another reason I'm trying to get them both "out there" on listings such as this, is that someone else I discovered has been claiming this game series as their own and making games in its name, claiming they are making / have made the sequel, etc.  Only "The Chairman's Quest" and "The Academy" are the games in canon made by  me, the same author and creator.  Other games with other titles claiming to be in the same series were not made by me and are not canon.  There's nothing I can do about that, obviously, these are freeware, not copyrighted games - but I wish they would at least make it clear up front if they are going to do this they are not the original author and those games are not official parts of the canon I wrote...that's the part that bothers me - not so much they are making games but causing confusion as to what the actual, canon story is...

Thanks all and happy gaming!

This is probably the longest conversation. Greetings everyone!
