Hi! We’re PandaKoala Studio, a two-person indie team. We’ve just brought the free Windows demo of Become Blackhole to itch.io.

You start as a tiny speck in space. Break nearby objects, absorb the debris and spend your earnings on upgrades between runs. New upgrades change how you break things and collect resources as you grow.

The demo takes about 30–40 minutes and covers the first three stages, ending at the asteroid stage. Windows 64-bit; no Steam account required.

The full game continues through planets and stars to a black hole, and is planned for November 11, 2026 (PST). Steam page / wishlist

AI disclosure: generative AI tools were used for coding assistance and UI design; some artwork, music and promotional assets also use generative AI. The screenshot shows actual gameplay.

Congrats on the demo, 11 days out is a fun window. Two small things I noticed on the Steam page while browsing: the English store name shows as "Become Blackhole 成为黑洞", so English search results and the capsule title carry the Chinese name too, worth checking if that's intended for the default language. And the release line there still says "November 2026" while you're announcing Nov 11 here; an exact date tends to help people deciding whether to wishlist now. Is the separate Steam demo going live before launch, or is itch the only place to try it for now?
