9.45 was my best. Great visuals, I loved them. Interesting concept. Challenging.

I really liked the unusual concept of the game.

Fun and tricky! Balancing the match is harder than it looks (though I was playing before my morning coffee), and the graphics are really interesting. A simple idea that keeps you coming back. Nice work!

I made AI WORMS for the jam too, a one-button whack-a-mole: https://seymour8glass.itch.io/ai-worms. I'd love your honest rating if you get a minute.

Nice idea that fits the theme perfectly! I do love this graphical style too, reminds me of DREAMWILD. Nice job.

This one is fun

The dithered one-bit look with the huge match burning at the top and the timer counting up in chunky pixels is striking, and the DROPPED screen with NEW BEST at 3.05 seconds makes a retry feel instant. How to steer the hand was not explained anywhere, and my first drags toppled the match within seconds. A short ghost-hand hint or a one-line control prompt at the start, plus a gentler first few seconds, would let new players learn the balance before the lean gets violent.

Played the itch build headless at desktop (800x600) and phone portrait (390x844), plus a balance bot that reads the match's lean and steers the hand like a player would. Clean: 0 console errors on both, touch drag works, and the bot held the match for 124.8 s on desktop and 124.1 s on phone. The slow-mo near the tipping point and the chevron guide both help a lot. Two things worth fixing, one small:

1. The OUCH ending never happens. die('OUCH') is fully written (sfx.ouch, the hand jerk, the bigger shake), but nothing calls it: the only callers are DROPPED (tilt > 1.4) and OUT (vigor 0). L keeps burning past LMIN = 0.16 at about 113 s, nothing happens at that point, and both bot runs ended as DROPPED with the match a 0.07 stub. So a perfect run tops out around 125 s and always ends with the 'you failed' word. One line in step(), something like if (state === 'play' && L <= LMIN) die('OUCH'), gives the best players the real ending.

2. On phones, tapping off-centre to start drops the match in about a second. absMouse only updates in pointermove, and a touch sends no pointermove before pointerdown, so start() aims the hand at the centre (or where the last run's finger was). The first drag then snaps it to the finger. With the finger held still after the tap: tap at the centre, the match lasts 3.4 s; tap at 3/4 or 1/4 of the width, the hand jumps about 0.35 and it drops at 1.1 s. Setting absMouse from e.clientX/e.clientY at the top of the pointerdown handler (same formula as pointermove) fixes it, including the restart tap.

3. Small: on a phone the title still says 'mouse left / right' and 'click'. A 'drag' line for touch would help.
