Theme
Kane heard a scream from the basement pulls him out of bed, and what he finds there is far worse than any wild animal. Now every death sends Kane back to the same bed and the same scream like a loop that lock him inside. Search the house, find what you need to escape.

Limitations
Limitation used: Lightfall. Kane’s main defense. He can hide in the closet but a hiding spot only protects him if the room is dark. If the light is still on, the killer finds him even while he is hidden. The player has to turn off every light in the room before hiding, so using darkness correctly is what keeps Kane alive. and another Limitation used: Human made This is human slop no AI used in every process of working, and we got a lot skill and great experience from this jam

I liked the idea of turning off the lights to hide from the monster.  I actually used a similar light switch mechanic in my jam game. I did struggle a bit with figuring out what to do and how to progress, though (mostly my fault for not reading the instructions; I needed quite some time to find the basement key 😅). Nice work overall!

the turn-off-lights-to-hide mechanic is so tense, nice job finishing it!

Although I haven’t finished playing your game yet, I really like it! The art is beautiful, and the gameplay is quite solid.
I’m also very impressed that you didn’t use any AI in its creation. I’ll be looking forward to your next game!
