Theme Implementation
The game's theme was implemented as follows: you control a pumpkin that was "enchanted" by a witch and brought to life. Throughout the game, you face enchanted enemies—manifestations of spells, such as thorns—and, in the end, you collect an enchanted book to win the game.
Special Object Implementation
In the game, you control a pumpkin that has been transformed into a small creature; if you die, you turn back into a pumpkin—in other words, the game features a pumpkin.
What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
I used Godot, and I incorporated sound effects from a website that offers free, completely copyright-free assets; the rest of the music and the pixel art were created by me.
