OpenSkate: a skateboarding sandbox where the board is the phsics

Open York, the Commons
The idea. The board is a real simulated body, not an animation. Each stick is one of your feet: pull the right stik back to load the tail, let go to pop, and the left stick flicks and catches. An ollie, a kickflip or a shove-it isn’t a buton; it’s what happens when your feet do the right thing at the right time. When they don’t, you bail. Landings are forgiving, but the board doesn’t snap back under you.
What there isn’t. No score, no missions, no unocks. You find a spot and skate it.
What I’m working on next. A living city: more people and other skaters, cyclists, grafiti and things that react when you hit them.

0.2.1 is out: Open York has people in it now, the parks are rebuilt, and the push and walking are new :)
