Flag Football Manager 2027 (Windows Alpha) Looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿˆ

I'm a solo indie developer from Germany working on Flag Football Manager 2027, a sports management game where you manage a flag football club, develop players, plan training, create tactics and coach matches in 3D.

The game is currently in Alpha 2027.04 for Windows, and I'd really appreciate some honest feedback from fresh players.

Playtest here:

If you have around 15โ€“20 minutes, I'd love to know:

1. First impressions and usability
Is the interface understandable when you start a new career? Is anything confusing or difficult to find?

2. Match presentation
What do you think of the 3D LIVE matches, camera and play-calling interface? Can you follow what's happening on the field?

3. Management and tactics
Do the training, roster and playbook systems feel interesting? Are the tactical choices clear enough?

Bonus question: What's the ONE thing you would improve first?

You don't need to be a flag football expert. I'm especially interested in whether the game makes sense to people discovering the sport for the first time.

This is still an early alpha, so rough edges are expected. Constructive criticism is genuinely welcome.

If you try it, please let me know what you enjoyed, what confused you, and where you got stuck.

Thanks for helping an indie developer improve his game!

Thanks, that's a pretty insightful take. Thank you for providing specific questions for the test—it immediately shows respect for other people's time. This niche is quite rare and interesting at the moment, especially with flag football on the rise ahead of the 2028 Olympics. I'd love to continue the discussion, particularly in light of recently coming across a football lineup builder where you can set up player formations on the pitch in real time, choose strategies from 12 formations like 4-3-3 or 5-3-2, swap players, and even share the lineup on social media. If you're interested in that sort of thing, you might want to check it out—personally, I really enjoyed the simulator. By the way, your post is practically begging for a couple of extra screenshots of the 3D match. Could you upload some?
