I loved the game! The theme was used brilliantly, and the pixel art is impeccable!

this is my first time trying to make a roguelike game. Creating a balanced progression is really difficult, I tried to tune it as much as I could. Thanks for playing

I think there should be a way to make the knight stop and don't move

Developer

I didn't understand why you wanted something like that. But I don't know why the decision for knight moves either :D I just wanted the game to look a bit more dynamic. Thanks for playing!

You wouldn't want to move the knight if you don't want to get damage from melee enemies. If you want to kill them with a spell for example

I like how well‑developed the visuals are. The game feels charismatic.

Thanks for your nice comment; the 2-color constraint was challenging. It was my first time learning to separate an object from the background by using the other color as an outline in a game. It has probably been used in the industry for years, but discovering it was amazing. 1-bit turned out to be much more fun than I expected.

I really like i game, though i didnt really understand what the cons of the cards are from the text.

At first, all spells were cast by consuming a percentage (x%) of our remaining health, but I removed that later. Now, some reduce attack speed, some reset armor, and others decrease movement speed etc.. I should have left it the way it was at the beginning. Unfortunately, due to my daily work, I couldn't add a description for the spells to the menu. That's a very fair and valid criticism. Thanks for playing
