Paid audio you can use in Game Off (UI sounds + 8-bit SFX), plus a repo tip

Game Off allows paid assets, so here's ours, in case sound is the part you don't want to spend jam days on.

We made them from scratch with our own synthesis code. No samples and no generative-AI audio. Royalty-free, no credit required (you'll still list them in your submission credits like any outside asset).

One practical thing for anyone using paid audio, ours or anyone else's: Game Off needs a public GitHub repo, and most paid sound licenses (ours included) don't allow sharing the raw files. The FAQ says you don't have to commit purchased assets, so put your audio folder in `.gitignore` and note where the files came from in your README.

Good luck with the theme, everyone.

Adding one for SHIFT games: our free 19-sound sampler is up (WAV + OGG): https://woodbetweenstudio.itch.io/free-sampler. There's also a new Sci-Fi & Space SFX pack ($7): warp jumps, teleports, lasers, robot servos and 6 space ambience loops, 8 variations per sound. https://woodbetweenstudio.itch.io/scifi-space-sfx-pack

SHIFT tip: for a phase or dimension shift, play Teleport at pitch 0.85 and crossfade between two ambience loops (e.g. space station → deep space) over half a second.

Synthesized in our own code, no samples, no generative-AI audio.
