It's chicken time

I'm going to be cagey about the whole thing for just a little bit longer, but I'm here! I'm doing something! It's different from last time!

I'm also busy-er than last time, when work was not as nuts and I had all that time in waiting rooms to spend on this. And this time I'm hooked on Alchemy Factory, in case you're keeping track.

Anyway, here's a chicken that can jump around and stand on lines.

I'm really enjoying several things about this experience so far, like writing code for real. Although my editor (Zed) is currently annoying the shit out of me with all the warnings about PICO-8 Lua that isn't normal Lua code, I'm still using it and not going back to Neovide or PICO-8 itself. And I have all sorts of lessons-learned and already-built utilities and a framework from last time, so that's pretty awesome.

It's about dang time someone adapted "It's Chicken Time," the Stephen King book about magical factory management!
