Design Statement
The soundtrack felt really celestial, peaceful and kinda mysterious, like you’re exploring some alien planet. It reminded me of Avatar, especially the floating mountains and the way Pandora feels so alive. I wanted to make a game that captures that same feeling of exploring a beautiful world where everything feels unfamiliar.

I also took inspiration from games like Journey and Sky: Children of the Light, especially their atmosphere and how they make travelling around feel special. I thought flying whales would fit the music perfectly, so I made the game about experiencing the life of one.

I wanted the whales to behave like actual animals, travelling in herds, growing up, finding mates and raising calves. For the visuals I went with huge open skies, warm sunsets and alien landscapes. I didn’t really want combat or anything too complicated, just a peaceful game where you can fly around and experience the world.
