This beach concept is really charming, and it builds such a lovely immersive seaside atmosphere. I wish there was smoother performance during play, and I was also wondering if the icons on the top are meant to be interactive.

Design Statement
The theme track felt to me like a distinct journey: starting slow and steady, building into passionate growth, and finally resolving in a complete reset. I considered a few concepts like colonizing planets and nourishing plants, before picking the one with building sandcastles before an imminent big wave on each round.
My key choice was syncing the gameplay to the background music. Each round lasts about a minute alongside the track, so the music itself acts as an organic timer, letting players start peacefully playing with sand and water, feel the momentum rise as they race to uncover hidden goals, and sense the climax approaching without needing stressful countdown clocks. Rather than erasing everything when the track resolves, the incoming wave partially melts your castle down while leaving weathered remains and washing ashore new decorative items for the next round. That soft reset keeps the atmosphere cozy and gives every new build a sense of progression that invites you to continue and shape "just one more spire."
Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Press any button to start a round. Build a small castle of 3 medium size spires close by and get your first goal done! There are more goals hinted at the top edge of the screen, and you can find some hidden ones later too - maybe you can even figure out how to trigger the night time! Did your project use any AI tools or assets? If yes, please specify.
Claude handled the coding, while a few AI-generated art references (heavily modified) and local 3D generation models were used for beach items. Zero AI was used for game design decisions or art direction: the look, feel, and mechanics were crafted and fine tuned by a real Unity3D developer and passionate gamer.
