Design Statement
The theme track opens as a floating, beatless pad and only after about twenty seconds settles into a steady walking
pulse, ending on one held chord. I read that shape as two states, waiting and moving, and built the whole game around a
single verb that switches between them. Holding Space is the suspended part: a circle of light widens and the three
travelers rest. Releasing it is the pulse: everyone inside the light walks home. The key choices follow from that.
There is no timer, no failure and no death; travelers outside the light simply wait, so the only skill is noticing who
has been left behind. The three chapters add one idea each: learning the rhythm, travelers with different paces plus
mud that slows them, and a final bridge that opens only when all three rest together, ending the way the track ends, on
one long held moment. The official theme loops underneath the entire game.

Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Launch: Download BorrowedRoom-Windows-x64.zip, extract it, and run BorrowedRoom/BorrowedRoom.exe. No install needed. If
Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway" (the build is unsigned).

Controls:
Enter - begin / next chapter / return to title
Hold Space - widen the light; travelers rest
A / D (or arrow keys) while holding Space - move the light
Release Space - travelers inside the light walk home
H - recenter the light on the last traveler
P - pause, R - restart chapter, M - reduce motion

Gameplay: Guide three travelers home through three short chapters by alternating between holding the light (rest) and
releasing it (walk). Return for anyone left outside the light, wait for slower walkers in the mud, and in the last
chapter gather everyone at the bridge and hold together until it opens. There is no timer and no failure.

Played it out, I actually liked your circle-based AOE movement concept with the restriction of not moving while expanding.
But I do wish there was more to it.
