Design Statement
When I heard the Jam theme, my mind instantly went to games integrating music into the gameplay, one of me and my teammates favourite games in recent memory was Hi-Fi Rush, we really loved the way Hi-Fi Rush felt to play and we decided we wanted to make a game like it where the main mechanic is tied to the beat. When listening to the track bells came to mind, which became the main visual motif of the game, which we modelled the player character and the ending after.
Other games that really inspire us are Enter the Gungeon, which has really engaging movement and an amazing art style, and Unsighted, which is a terrific game which I drew a lot of ideas from mostly tied to area design and post processing effects.

This is a really cool idea, and I like it, but I just couldn't play it. moving was impossible. the sound track was delicious.  Every time I moved the CPU spiked to 100%. I wish I could have experienced this.

Thank you for the feedback. We will test the performance on more hardware, sorry you couldn't experience the game. Glad you liked the soundtrack though :)
