Very cool usage of the theme~ It is cool how at different ages you get different abilities to get through the level! Awesome job and keep it up!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Manolo rewinds in time to remember his past life.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, artwork and music are done by scratch. Only sound effects and a couple images for the background aren't ours.

It is really good! i like how you added the rewind. Good job! (there are some bugs. i managed to get out of a level and fall in the void forever, and went trough a wall)
It says 'aws' for movement, should be awd of course, no biggy. The sound (because of the high pitch) should be set low at start :D An interesting idea with the stages of life. I first read over the Q, so I was wondering why I died at the plant all the time :D...but it wasn't the plant...lol. Oh and accidentally rewinding too far at the wrong place...also a bad thing.. Nice implementation.
Game is good and fun.Good job!

I really liked it! Reminded me a lot of To The Moon (which is a game I like a lot). I really liked the art (particularly how they changed between ages), I thought the audio worked really well, and I liked the concept overall!
I did end up getting stuck on a level where there were spikes on the bottom level; the ceiling just seemed to short to be able to jump over them and there weren't any rewind clocks to be able to glide as a baby from the potplants. So I died a bunch of times trying to jump the spikes and gave up at that point. But overall I'd liked what I'd played up to that point! (if I missed something then let me know and I'll have another go at that part).
My only problem was the pacing seemed a bit off at times; sometimes I would be super rushed to get the clock and rewind to the appropriate age at the right time (which was fine because that was part of the challenge), but other times I would need to switch to the baby just to crawl under one thing, but then would have to wait for a while to be able to jump over whatever object was in front of me. I guess the hitbox on middle-age Manolo could be a bit bigger too, but that's pretty minor :)
Well done!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I agree that level is probably way too difficult, as you have to jump at the very end of the corner. It's something we'll change in future updates.
Only after that level apears the tree mechanic, which is just a tree which is bigger or smaller depending on the age and that has to be used to complete a couple levels. Anyway, nothing huge and up to that level you already saw the main concept of the game.
About the fast and slow timing, we'll add a fast forward button so that waiting isn't really waiting anymore and so the game doesn't feel so different in speed. We'll also take into account the hitbox!
Glad you liked it and thanks again for the comment!
Not exactly my type of game, but I liked it. Visuals and sound play well together, the idea of different timeframes is cool and works in a context of the game. Great job!
Really liked the idea and all the art and music is great.
Super cool game, I like what you did with the theme and that you need to be at different stages of life to complete the different puzzles ^^
Nice game,
The rewind of Manolo's lifetime is a cool way to fit 3 habilities into the theme of the Jam. I would like to see more variety between the 3 ages since old manolo seems pretty useless right now.
The tutorial level is pretty good at explaining what to do however level one got very difficult very fast. I ended up dying several times because I missed the clocks and you have to be dead precise. I think the level design could be improved.
Other than that is a really nice entry for the jam. Congrats

Nice idea for the theme, I like the clock and the transformation.
Good job.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
Transformation idea is dope. Plus they have different effects is even better.
Its a nice game and tutorial also helps out a lot to get into the rhythm.
I really like the concept of this game, and the art is really nice. I wish there was a way to speed up time since I found myself waiting to age quite a lot. I really enjoyed the mechanic of things changing as you aged (like the tree), and I just wish the levels had contained more of this idea, rather than man punch ghost, baby go under spikes, old man win level. Overall though, I thought this was a really good entry, and encourage you to keep working on this. (Also the setting is really sweet, and as someone whose relatives have had dementia, really resonated with me)
Thank you so much for the feedback! Definitely agree the fast forward button is a good idea, and we are also looking forward to implementing new mechanics to the different ages. For a week-long jam, we didn't have that much time, but it is something I agree about and that we'll implement after the jam. Also glad you liked the storyline and found it somewhat touching, thank you!
Loved the name Manolo! This game made me feel a little bit emotional. Really stands out among the other games. Wish see more of your work!
I really liked how you had to constantly use the clocks to stay alive, it's a unique mechanic I haven't seen in this jam yet! And it was obvious when you had to switch into different ages which was good too. There was this one jump that I couldn't get past. In the level where it's a race against the clock for each age, at the bottom there's two spike pits. I can't get past the first one. Do I need a special power, or am I just timing my jumps wrong?
Great game, thanks for sharing!
