Hi, yes there was an issue, it will be solved in the next "4.4" update :)
(in the meanwhile, to get the bonus, just qui the game and start it again!)
On the discord server there's a list of current bugs and typo's Chewy is working through them - a new update 0.4.4 has been released with a bunch of bug-fixes & cosmetic (typo & translation).
IIRC Stewie and Chewy are in France - so english as their second language may be why the typos are sneaking in - I know they appreciate any help we can offer them to polish the product, so keep up the positive & constructive feedback.
It appears to be blank but you can still play the forge practice. First, when the wood thing background appears, click the bottom right box to start the game, then mash arrow keys until you don't hear any sounds anymore. After that, just click on the screen and it will take you off the practice, then the forge will be done. You still won't be able to work in the forge though as it will still be a blank screen when you try so you relationship with Hanth may not increase through work.
I just recently looked at the kickstarter page and realized that who I knew as "Valdo" was actually supposed to be Waldo. I'm playing on a save from I believe the 3.3 demo version if that helps at all.
EDIT: Started an entirely new save, and his name is still like that, but it's correct in text (eg, Waldo and Barto). Not sure if I just missed it on my first play-through but eh.
