You're right we did make rather similar games lol.

This is a prety good game easy to learn and has a cool art style.

The only real suggestion i would give is maybe have the first 2 presets guarenteeded to be positive, I played 3 games of this and each time i got "Slower Player Speed" for the first gift. 

This is a really nice, fun game. It follows the theme, and I appreciate the positioning of the carrots. 

I agree with another comment on here, it could use some tweaking for speed, but other than that great job.

There is a small bug where you can get stuck in the christmas tree if a snowman pushes you inside of it. I only noticed this once, so it did not really matter to me. Loved the art style and audio!

One of the best games i've ever seen  on this jam, great visuals, audio on point, quite the suprise so it fits the theme and pretty fun.

what i would suggest is to optimise the user interface (health display specifically), movement feels stiff and it's unfortunatly hard to play on a laptop, so i'd suggest maybe having a autoaim system option, or adding the bullet speed, otherwise amazing job.

Nicely done, a short intro screen with drawings, it's fun to read and gives everything we need to know (almost).

Gameplay

• Great way to let the player breathe between waves to have them go to the tree. Maybe just disallow the gift picking when the wave isn't completely dead? I didn't realize I was doing it wrong until my map was full of snowmen haha
• Great bonuses/maluses
• Maybe a bit slow to kill the snowmen, increasing their speed and our strength may increase the pace
• The knockback on hit is great to escape!

Fun

I definitely laughed while playing, well done!

Bugs

When a snowman catches you, you're knocked back. If there's another snowman behind you, nothing happens and you're stuck forever until you die :(

Theme

It follows the theme, great! :)

A solid twin-stick-style shooter :-) The art is great and the Yogs voice lines are a nice touch. On one run I got quite unlucky with modifiers and ended up with a really slow fire rate, so maybe it could benefit from some auto-balancing going on behind the scenes? Still good fun though.

Love the music and artstyle! Nice use of Simon's voice lines too, great controls and a solid game!

Really nice artwork and fun character advancement through the presents. A few more enemy types might have been nice. Very responsive controls, which I appreciated.

I like the artstyle and there is a good few powerups/modifiers to play with. In my opinion it could've been sped up a bit, feels a bit slow to start. All in all good job though!
