In what way does your game fit the theme?
You play as a slime and pick up more slimes to get stronger. You get a new upgrade from a slime after every fight which will help you in your next fight.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything is done from scratch, except for the last boss image but you might know where we got that from ;).

Very nice! 

Sound design and art makes it really aesthetic. I would like a bit more clarity on what are -and what aren't- platforms for me (or when i need to crouch). The bug boss was really unclear that I needed to defeat him, if you could keep me inside of the screen while fighting him it would force me to interact more.

All in all, great start, hope to see more in the future!

Hey your game seems to only be downloadable in .rar, which I can't open on mac. How can I play on mac?

Thanks for your interest! If I'm not mistaken you can download WinZip for MAC to unzip the files. Hopefully that helps you on your way! Otherwise I saw Unarchiver(?) in the apple store, but I'm not very familiar with apple.

w doesn't register as a jump for some reason. Is that intentional for the early sections?

Hey! You got a great game. It feels nice and it has good gameplay. The art style is pretty good. You did a fantastic job and I hope you can also rate my game if you have time. Good job buddy :)

It's a funny game, the "woop" sound of the jump makes me laugh every time I jump. I like the visuals, the artstyle. However, it was not clear to me at first how to defeat the second boss (after a while I got the hang of it). And the last part is a bit unclear: Maybe a small sign where some explanation is what the "new" control is, or the "new" ability or the goal of the last part, this was not intuitive to me. (keep in mind I am NOT an experienced gamer haha)
