Hi Lile!
Thanks so much for making a video on the game! :) I really appreciate it~ It’s always really helpful to see people play through the game and give their thoughts. Also you are definitely not bad at the game!
To give you a bit more detail on what’s happening with the development, I’m planning to release an update to the game in a week or two. That’s mainly focused on the ‘beat making’ mode (the menu is unclear, so you didn’t see that mode in the video), but it also has a few other changes. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the update (particularly the beat making mode)!
Also you can sign up to be a playtester and have the chance to try new levels early here (although I do ask that you don’t stream those), the next playtest is planned for May and there will be ~10 levels total to try in that version. The long term plan is to release a full version as a paid game with around 20 levels. Hope that gives you a better idea of what is going on with the game.
Thanks again for the video~ :)
Really great game! Love the art style and music, they go so well together. Though I would also like it if, at some point, there can be an option to use the arrow keys as well. I'm kinda used to that for rhythm games. (If that's in the download, I apologize, I only had time for the in-browser version ^^; ) Other than that, I can't wait to see where this goes!
Hi! Thanks very much :) I'm glad you enjoyed it~ Thanks for the feedback on the controls! I've had that feedback a few times so I'm planning to release an update to the game in the next week or two which would also let you use the arrow keys. In the future the plan is to add a settings menu to let you set any keys you want to play the game.
Hey, thanks so much for making a video on the game! I really appreciate it! It's always really helpful to see people play the game, and this was the first video I've seen after the new update~
If you're interested, you could sign up to be a playtester here and you'll have the chance to try new levels early. I only ask that you don't upload any footage from that version. I'm planning to run the next playtest in May sometime, there's about 10/11 levels done so far~
Also just to say it's really cool that you're trying to cover smaller games here on itchio :)
