Escape HellfireShort but nice game! :) I think you captured the NES-feeling quite well! Though I think it would have been more in the spirit of the NES controller if you used your right hand for jumping (I suppose you can, but I found that I used the left thumb (PC style) instead :P).
Also, some of the pickups seemed to stay around after I collected them, only disappearing after I walked over them two or three times :P
