Hi, sorry you're having problems playing the game. After clicking an instrument you can play the notes by pressing the correct QWER key when the falling circle is in the middle of the line. If you have a different keyboard layout you can also use the arrow keys to play the notes. Please let me know if you're still having problems

I think you've signed up already to be a tester (I saw a similar name to your itch name on the list anyway), if not you can do that here: here. I haven't sent any keys out yet, they will be sent some time in May.
Thanks for letting me know about the problem you had with the mp3, could you let me know the answer to a few questions to help me understand the problem please?
1. Which operating system are you using?
2. If you are using windows, do you need to run the 32 bit version of the game?
3. Does a pop up appear saying incorrect input? Could you screenshot and send this?
4. Could you let me know some of your computer specs: (CPU + GPU) please?

2. Well I tried to do the 32-bit version but still didn't work, or it might be because I'm doing something wrong.
3. Yes it does say incorrect input but I think I'm doing it wrong or I don't understand how it works.

Hmmm it's difficult to figure out what is happening there... Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the error message please? I couldn’t find any error text in the mp3 library with 'incorrect input ' the closest thing I could find to that error message was this, is that what you are talking about?

Also you don't happen to be playing in the browser version? The mp3 button shouldn't be shown in that one at all but I might not have hidden it properly in all situations

I'm glad you got into making beats so much! I was hoping that the game could be an introduction to people making beats, I wrote a long post here as a reply once explaining how I make beats if you're interested in getting into it more. I think at some point I'll either try to make a blog post as a guide for getting into making beats, or include it in the game somehow.
