I started in RPG Maker but found the limitations to be far too much to be able to create something I enjoy so I moved onto Gamemaker Studio and learned GML. I'm wolf and I've been making games since 2017 although I've published my first in a game jam. I am learning and trying to improve at pixel art and that is what I use in my games. UMF here. I have been hanging around itch.io a few months and have experimenting with HTML5 not games exactly but things you can play with. The most game-y are kind-o like arcade style games. I also make music, and many of my experiments involve audio. I am really just doing this for fun. I would be particularly interested in hearing from musicians or audio oriented folks on the site. Hi, My name is Shubh Kumar Rai and I am 14yrs old. I am an Indian. I use Unity for game making along with C# for coding. I have been using Unity for 1 yr and now I am able to make pretty good games (I think). I also know a bit of Python and can make simple games with it. Nowadays, My games are becoming somewhat popular so I am happy with it. I have currently published 6 games here with 1 more coming out this week. I hope to become a Famous Game Developer when I grow up as in my country, elders think that making/playing games are a waste of time. They only want good marks from us in exams. So when I grow up, I will show them that game-making is not a waste of time but an art.

I am but a humble sociopathic connoisseur of all things which many surface dwellers may consider to be "morally unjust", and I have traversed across the grand cesspool of memes, pornography, drama, and horrible ideas which we mortals call "the internet" for many a time.
In my most recent of travels, I have somehow stumbled upon this community of heavily aspired game developers whom which I deduce may suffer heavy insomnia given all of the game jams this community seems to host. I have no clue as to how I ended up here, but as the great Xelvy once illustrated, male genitalia is offly fragile; and you never know if the day will come when eldritch monstrosities straight from H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon will come to take it away. As such, we much always cherish what is beneath our pants, as well as one another.
While we are on the topic of game development, I must declare that I am also indeed working on a series of 3 projects, and I will most likely finish them by the year 2056! You heard the release date here first my friends, 2056! Let us begin the hype train into the century and slam many a bottle along the way!

Hello everyone,
I trust your all doing well. I am excited to have found this site. My hobby is computer programming etc. I wrote a 2D game engine when I was young. As a result of the pandemic I have dusted it off and converted the libraries over to x64 bit with support for 32 bit per pixel artwork. I found this site a few weeks ago and acquired artwork that surpasses my expectations.
The artwork is on display in my sample game. I am hoping to have a beta release of the game out by September 1st. I am sure the sample game will look familiar to you.
You can view the sample on this youtube site. Please go easy on me. I have not quite my day job, which has nothing to do with my hobby. I know the code needs optimizing, to enhance performance. I am aware of how to do that and where in my code it could use improvement.
