Fun game! Short and sweet! I liked the optional death, made me laugh
Pretty spoopy. You went through more effort than you could have, and that's not a good thing.
Don't really like how the ghosts just say "boo" and then leave you alone.
Yeah, I started the jam out making lopsided sprites, but then once I got to the tiles the perfectionism started creeping back in. Next Low Effort Jam, I'll try to keep things simpler.
The ghosts damage you, but it doesn't really matter unless you manage to lose all 5 hp. Maybe after the rating period I could add a reduced hp mode.

That was such a fun story. I lost a few times but I had to keep trying to see it through. You did a great job of writing all that world description I loved every word.
