It's a great prototype! I read that you spent time on the engine, if you did it from scratch (I assume by the <script>), that's a lot of work for raycasting and depth (which sometimes bugs out)!

I really liked the atmosphere with the colouring in this. It was simple but very fun to move around and experience. I'm also a sucker for old Metroid :)
